With July 4th (one of my favorite holidays) right around the corner, I decided to do a bit of a red, white & blue inspired look to work. As my budget permits, all these pieces were found on sale or very moderately priced online. Please see below for details on outfits as well as alternate links. Thank you for stopping by! So I have a Nordstrom Rack within a 10 mile radius from work( too close for my own good), which means I visit the store at least once a week. I picked up this floral playsuit a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love. (Check your local store if you're interested, they might still have a few.)They had a navy blue with a daisy print option as well but for those of you who know me, I'm not one to shy away from bold and bright colors. Naturally, I picked this number. The material and fit is almost unreal for the price I paid ( you wont believe it! $28!). Needless to say, I will be keeping an eye out for rompers/playsuits this summer and this one might be in heavy rotation. As a matter of fact, I plan on wearing it to a pool party this evening. Hope everyone is enjoying their first week of summer! As always, thank you for reading! Xo Sophie Floral printed playsuit- Nordstrom Rack (similar here)

The black and white buffalo printed shirt against the colored paisley printed skirt served as a neutral in my opinion. I wasn't completely sold on this outfit, but after a few second looks, it has started to grow on me. Outfit details & links posted below. Thank you for reading and Happy Monday! Like his Facebook page here I recently attended a friend's beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. This hot pink lace single shouldered dress arrived from ASOS just in time. I finished up the look with a pair of color blocked earrings I just received from a friend this past weekend, gold strapped sandals &my go-to over-sized leopard clutch that I wear way too often. The dress was such a steal and the color was absolutely stunning.(Please excuse the overly squinted eyes, it was a very sunny afternoon) Lace one shouldered skater dress- Asos

A few friends and I picked up snacks & drinks and headed over to Jazz in the garden at National Gallery of Art. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and whether you're a jazz enthusiast or simply enjoy attending outdoor activities, this is definitely something you should add to your to-do list during the summer in the city. Since it involved lots of walking and sitting outdoors, I opted for this comfy maxi dress from Old Navy. I belted it to give it some shape and added a few accessories. Also, I must say, posing for outfit pictures in broad daylight gets easier every time. Outfit details are posted below. Hope you had a great weekend! Thank you for reading along. My personal favorite was the whimsical tulle skirt she wore on the show's finale scene when she reunites with Mr. Big. Yes, it has been 10 years since the show but tulle skirts have been making a big comeback recently. I've seen them all over Instagram & Pinterest (my social media style guides that I swear by) Last winter I found a great deal on one on Amazon! It's the perfect skirt for any special occasion and I plan on getting my money's worth. Did I mention it was an absolute steal? Outfit details below. Xo Sophie Shirt- Zappos

This past weekend, a couple of friends and I visited Eatonville. The soul food combined with an eclectic interior is a great combination. I wore this double tiered floral dress I purchased from ASOS last spring. The breezy material and loose fitting feels like Im wearing a slip out in broad daylight without the awkward stares.
