Hi friends,
I am a huge advocate of making use and recycling from your closet. For this post I did just that but shopped in my mom's closet. She has somehow managed to hold on to a few timeless pieces that are still in pristine condition from a couple of decades ago. This polka dotted number caught my eye because of the fit and the midi length that is flattering on petite frames. I decided to keep this look simple and styled it with a white skinny belt and pumps (details listed below). Speaking of styling, I have recently joined the wonderful team of personal and very affordable stylists over at SIDE By STYLE and got my first client! You can directly check out my profile and find booking information here. It's pretty exciting in Sophia world this week I must say. Besides that, discovering a ton of museums and the national monument within walking distance from work during lunch yesterday was a pleasant surprise as well. I'm looking forward to picnics and afternoon walks in the heart of the city this Spring & Summer. I also went to my first baseball game of the season last night and am hoping to attend a few more. Hope you are enjoying your week! I have listed a few polka dotted numbers through google searching down below. As always, thank you for stopping by! Hello friends,
Hope you're having a great week so far and thoroughly enjoyed your weekend outdoors(minus the allergies). My weekend was filled with exploring the city and checking out the cherry blossoms of course. We found this beautiful magnolia tree in full bloom while driving down the road and couldn't resist using it as a backdrop. This floral printed dress of course created a great color contrast against the gorgeous blooms.I have listed a few great alternate options for brunch that I am loving for this Spring/Summer. Check them out below! Thank you for stopping by! This gorgeous weather we've had lately, calls for long strolls in the evenings. This tunic dress I found on Groopdealz a few months ago, would be great for running errands or adding a skinny leopard belt with my favorite utility vest to give it a more polished look. Enjoy your weekend! I'll be doing touristy things in the city since the cherry blossoms are supposed to be in full bloom in the next couple of days. Thank you for stopping by! Long sunny days with so much to do around the city. With cherry blossoms right around the corner & baseball season opening next week (No, I'm not a baseball fan, I just go to crowd watch and eat hot dogs) there is always something exciting going on right around the block. And on brighter days like yesterday, I wore this lovely silk shift dress from Garnet Hill to work. As I was scrolling through the reviews on this item, I noticed this dress, besides receiving great reviews, was mostly reviewed by a more mature crowd. I love how this dress is perfect for pretty much any age range and can be dressed up or down in several different ways. With floral being all the rage this spring, this dress paired with an old gingham shirt and pearls is a great office appropriate option. Layered dresses also happen to be my go-to look for work. Enter here to share your personal style! Hope you have an eventful ( or a relaxing, whichever you prefer) weekend. For those of you celebrating this weekend, Happy Easter! Thank you for stopping by.
